Mr Arscott attended JP Training yesterday to give help and guidance to the ground work apprentices on the effects of using vibrating tools and equipment.

A break in the weather has allowed the Churngold Construction/JP Training ground work apprentices to carry on with their training. Today the apprentices have been hard at work laying kerbs and edging for the construction of a path . All the apprentices have worked really hard today and as you can see from the above photo their skills and ability in their job role as a ground worker is progressing to a very high standard.

JP Training would like to congratulate the seven Archaeologists who completed and achieved the National plant operators registration scheme (NPORS) plant machinery marshall course held at JP Training centre in Barry. The seven candidates where put through their paces marshalling various items of plant such as forward tipping dumpers and 360 excavators. The seven candidates worked hard to achieve their award and will take with them the knowledge and confidence to help them within their job role. All the staff at JP Training would like to wish them all the best for the future.
The Plant Machinery Marshall Course provides candidates with the knowledge and practical skills involved with being a plant machinery marshall to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard.
It is recommended that any employee expected to work as a plant machinery marshall should undergo this course and assessment to ensure the safety of them selves and other working on the site.
By the end of the course, all successful candidates will have the knowledge to perform their duties safely & correctly, and successful NPORS assessment candidates will be issued with an NPORS Operators card.

Cpcs vehicle marshall training
JP Training would like to congratulate Mr Lloyd Edwards & Mr Terrance Edwards on completing the cpcs 5 day vehicle Marshall CPCS category A73 course. The 5 day course was held at the training centre in Barry and involved the correct and safe procedure for reversing and moving vehicles on site. Lloyd & Terrance worked hard throughout the training and showed a real passion for the role. Both candidates studied hard throughout the week to be able to gain the knowledge and experience to pass the theory and practical tests. Lloyd & Terrance both passed the theory and practical tests with flying colours and have now got a great opportunity to progress in their chosen job roles. JP Training would like to wish them all the best for the future.
